Inflation Relief - Enact the "Inflation Relief & Consumer Assistance Plan" to reduce the costs on everyday items and ease the burden on consumers

Tax Simplification and Reduction - Reduce taxes on overburdened employers and study simplifying the State tax system

Elimination of Burdensome Regulations - Establish the Division of Regulatory Review and Economic Growth (D-RREG) and the Legislative O ce of Fiscal Transparency to eliminate or prevent burdensome regulations that negatively impact the economy
SUPPORT  FOR SMALL BUSINESS

Shop Local - Support local businesses by offering financial support to advertise and emphasize the importance of shopping local

Small Business Tax Cuts - Reduce the burden on the small businesses that employ over 4.2 million New Yorkers 

​

Emergency Relief - Authorize the Governor to repurpose certain monies as needed for the Restart New York Grant Relief Program

​

Minimum Wage Assistance - Expand eligibility in order for employers to receive reimbursement credits, expand/restructure the State Earned Income Tax Credit to reduce the reliance on the minimum wage for increasing take-home pay, require legislative approval for Wage Board orders 

LEARNING FOR WORK

Youth Apprenticeship Programs - Provide career-focused curriculum in our high schools by combining academic classroom coursework with mentored on-the-job training in a specific occupational area

Enhanced Professional High School Diploma - Offer a degree with a designation in a career field of a student's choice

​

Youth Apprenticeship Tax Credits - Establish a per apprentice tax credit for businesses that take part in the Youth Apprenticeship Program 

​

Sector Partnerships - Support industry clusters that partner with local education, workforce development, not-for-profit, and similar entities to address industry skill needs and other priorities
