Despite being the highest-taxed county in America, Westchester schools are not adequately funded by Albany, where a supermajority holds the purse strings -and our childrens’ future. Where does our money go? To New York City and across the state to fund other school systems, and radical social programs. It’s crucial to address this imbalance and ensure that our schools receive their fair share.
As your Assemblyman, I will be your voice of reason, demanding that parents be heard when it comes to their childrens’ education. I will submit legislation, guaranteeing parents’ rights to maintain sovereignty over their children, ensuring that teachers and school administrators do not hide critical information from parents, such as physical and social-emotional health issues. Parents know what is best for their children and no activist administrator, teacher or counselor should get between a child and their family.
Let’s work together to improve education in New York State, ensuring that every child receives the quality education they deserve, and every parent has the right to be involved in their child’s education.
